코로나19 백신 접종을 완전히 마친 사람은 실외에서는 대규모 군중 속에 있을 때가 아닐 경우 마스크를 쓰지 않아도 된다고 연방질병통제예방센터(CDC)가 권고했다.

로셸 월렌스키 CDC 국장은 27일 백악관 코로나19 브리핑에서 이같이 업데이트된 마스크 착용 지침을 발표했다. 지침에 따르면 백신 접종을 마친 사람은 낯선 사람들이 있는 대규모 군중 속에 있지 않을 때는 실외에서 더 이상 마스크를 쓸 필요가 없다. 백신을 맞지 않은 사람들이 섞여 있더라도 소규모 실외 모임에서는 마스크를 벗어도 된다는 것이다.
